I had a terrible experience here. Originally, I brought my car in for an oil change. When I received the car back, my engine light was on and it was now making a horrible grinding noise. when I called them about it they said to bring it back in for them to look at it. When I brought it back, they then charged me a diagnostic fee and told me that the noise was nothing to worry about and since they reset my oil life, the engine light should be off now. The next morning, the light came back on so I dropped it back off with them again. This time, they were telling me my car was no longer safe to drive, that my ENTIRE break system needed to be replaced, and there was now a leak in my gas tank. At this point, I had my boyfriend step in to handle everything because I could tell that they were trying to take advantage of me since I was a ‘woman that knew nothing about cars’. Needless to say, the tune of things changed drastically when they began talking to a man and the price suddenly went from 2.5k to under 2 grand. I had a slow leak in my tire late on a Tuesday. Mr Tire was able to get my car in and fix it up quickly so I could get back on the road. I’ve used this store for a while for oil changes and inspections as well, and they have always been helpful and get the work done quickly.

I've gotten my car serviced several times here in the last year. Brian is super helpful knowledgeable, and provides great customer service. As a downtown Durham resident I appreciate the walkability to drop off and pick up my car as well. This last time they got me in an out in under 10 minutes without an appointment to fix a skid plate issue. I'd recommend anyone to bring their car here.

Mr. Tire is my go to for all tire problems. Consistently great service, super helpful guys and friendly atmosphere. Jim and Brian are awesome. In one case they fixed my tire with no charge just because it had been an easy fix. Love coming back here.

Dropped off for an oil change and l front tire alignment. When picking up everything was fine.. I asked for the alignment paperwork and “the printer isn’t working, come by next week” right after printing my receipt. Got in my car and it feels the alignment was never done.
